Self Imaging

Self Image plays a vital role in success of people. Self image directly controls the result area of a person. Every behaviour and outcome can be changed of a person by just changing his own way to see himself.

You are unique and especially gifted by God to this world. You are here for a special purpose and its accomplishment is for sure.

Self imaging is how do you see yourself? How would you like to be introduced? What tag are you carrying with your name?

When a mediocre commits him to a purpose, he starts looking himself as a champion and which always have resulted in a great success.

In our common life also, this is commonly observed that people behave differently in different environment, for example behaviour of same the person changes in a general tea shop in comparison to a starred restaurant. People do behave differently when faced by different category of people. The change in behaviour is apparent even when there is a slightest change in clothes one wears. 

Your behaviour can also get you surprise by a 360 degree change in behaving to a person to whom you wishes to impress to a commonly taken person.

People do have illusion that this about the other people and circumstances, but the truth is always reverse. This is who you are. Your behaviour tells about you only.

If you want to change your resulted areas, start changing your self image.

How to develop your self Image:

1. Do firm promises and keep them on any cost
2. Develop a discipline, a routine and maintain it religiously
3. Dress according to your self image
4. Follow the general behavior codes on daily basis
5. Share minimum fifteen minutes daily with self
6. Be who you are in your own light only.
7. By increasing your comfort zones always.
8. Always pay respect to others
9. Be always loving, grateful and helpful

There is only one don’t and it is, “don’t compare yourself and your result with any other person.”

The people, who are honest and true, do live a life of achievements, happiness and always winning, the winning together.

Success is important. Keep yourself telling and awareness about your successes on daily basis, is living a life of happiness and gratitude. Success inspires success. As we keep all our similar things at one place, so as the nature does it for us. We find success, enjoyment, enthusiasm etc. alike at the same place. You should decide what you require. You have to decide the way you shall be imaged.

The challenge is success. And even the challenge is higher, when success required on daily basis, on every moment. Is it possible?

Yes. This is possible.

People have their own definition of success. Some have money, some have name, fame etc. In all my journey of life, meeting different people, I have asked a question time and again. The question is, “what is success?” What would you count as success?”

And one answer is common, “accomplishment of thought”. Yes, the answer in common is accomplishment of thought is success. Every single thought came to your mind and if it happens to real, it is success.

Success might have many faces but for any individual the conversion of thoughts is success. For a child allowance of a T.V. program, buying a sweet, wearing a particular dress or going or not going to school is a success.

A working person finds a success in appraisals, promotions, recognitions etc. and for an unemployed even getting a job is a success.

A home maker feels the success in a beautiful home and kitchen, developing her children and keeping herself update with the society and world.

When success is so simple and easy to achieve, than the question arises why most of the people don’t find this success in whole of their life? Why do we find more failures and fewer successes?

The simple answer is “they don’t know what they want?” We have understood simply that the success is achieving what we think. The failure lies at thinking level. The success is lacking for not having a particular goal or list of goals.

The people who have a routine in their life felt more accomplished and successful in life. One day I met a person in the early morning. He was very happy and cheerful. I asked his success mantra of being happy and cheerful, he simply replied that he follows a routine and keeping his routine makes him happy and cheerful.

He felt accomplished when he awakes on time daily, have a morning walk and a handy interaction with some people, visiting temple and than move on to his business. His routine about his health, food, working hours and society is the mantra of his happiness and cheerfulness. He explored by adding, “He is always there where he is”.  This means he always live in now and accomplishes more in now only. He stays focus on the work in hand and keeps the other things for their time to come.

Success is simple in achieving what you think and achieving it by developing and keeping simple routines.

This success on daily basis is winning, winning together.

ह्रदय - भाव

यह भाव है मेरे जीवन की ताक़त, यह मेरे जीवन का विश्वास भी

कहीं कहीं मेरे जीवन का साथ हैं यह,  मेरे दोस्त भी हैं और मेरी आस भी

यह ही हैं कहीं मेरी परिभाषा, कहीं पर मन का उद्गार भी
यह हैं धरोहर मेरे जीवन की, मेरे जीवन का सार भी

खो गए कुछ बीच में साथी, कुछ ले अपने साथ सभी 
यही हैं स्वरुप, अनजान निर्रूप, जो मेरे हर दम साथ अभी

अश्रु

अब तो कहते नहीं अश्रु भी दिल का हाल, मुझे समझाने लगे हैं 

थम जाते हैं निगाहों में बहने की जगह,

"ह्रदय" जीवन का अक्स नए मायनों में दिखने लगे है

घुट जाता जब श्वास, उनके थमने से गले में 

मेरे जीवन में नव जीवन को जगाने लगे है

लोग जी लेते हैं इक जीवन ख़ुशी के गामी के लम्हों में 

यह थमते आंसू कुछ पलों में "ह्रदय" कईं जीवन दिखने लगे हैं

वहीं ओढ़ी होती है मोती चादर बड़े रुत्बोँ की ज़िन्दगी ने

वहीं कालीन रुसवाइयों के बिछाने लगे हैं 

रूकती नहीं नदियाँ अपनेपन की जहाँ पर

"ह्रदय" वहीं तनहाइयों के सागर लहराने लगे हैं

बैठा हूँ खामोश बेहरकत, वोह नज़ारे दिखने लगे हैं 

वो मन की स्याही से जाने, अनजाने चेहरे बनाने लगे हैं

"ह्रदय" जीवन का अक्स नए मायनों में दिखने लगे हैं

मानव लौ जलाने को हूँ

तेरी कृपा के शब्दों से, श्रद्धा सुमन चढाने को हूँ

मन से तन से, इस जीवन से, मानव लौ जलाने को हूँ

सुप्त हो गया है वह, जो चेतन भी है, चिंतन भी है 

सोए हुए अंगारों से माँ, जीवन लौ जलाने को हूँ

शोरगुल यह बढ़ रहा माँ, खामोश राहें हो रही

पा रहा "ह्रदय" मंजिलें पर, मंजिलें ही खो रही

खो गया हूँ खुद में यूँ माँ, खुद ही से माँ अब खो गया

तेरी कृपा की रोशनी से, विचारों की लौ जलाने को हूँ

सबसे बड़ा मंदिर वही है

जहाँ लोग मिलजुल कर रहते हैं

जहाँ मिलजुल कर काम करते हैं

My first appointment - a cold call

When I have qualified the exam of IRDA for insurance agent, I was not having any work to do. The form was a commitment to one of my elderly friend. I was new to the city. I rarely knows the people there. I was in my country but feeling somewhere abroad.

I was in a habit to attend my office first in the morning and last in the evening, earlier at my place. So I retained that routine there also. Not having a good money with me and no place to go, I used to invest my most of the time there only.

I had never missed a chance to do anything whichever came in my way there. I used to help the visitors, filling of forms for other, do some banking activities, attending the invitee of my senior. I am a bit frustrated some time, when I was not cared and supported by the same way from some of my seniors as they do for others. I have to do all for myself. But I was enjoy it most of the time.

I have done many things in past but nothing was working for me now. Nothing was there which can boost my confidence. I always have the faith in myself but execution of the things was missing. Something was stopping me inside. Some unknown fear.

One day in the morning I requested the father of my senior to help me for doing cold calls as I was new to the city. He had taken the responsibility happily. And two days later I was on the roads with him hand in hand.

We moved to a distant place about a km. that was a banking square and an estate officer. There lot many attorney's and their assistant were sitting. He was observing intelligently. We have chose one from there. He signaled me to move to him.

With pure humbleness, the permission was taken from him to sit there. He was typing some legal documents. He have not disturbed him. After finishing his work in another 10 minutes, he hosted us with respect. I was standing and my elderly senior was sitting there.

He introduced me as an entrant to a new career and industry. A person with energy and knowledge, representing a big brand. He re applied a request. A request for when we can see him again in his available time for another 30 minutes to assist him with our knowledge and experience.

He allowed us at 3 pm, but on Saturday. this way I won my first appointment. An appointment on a cold call.

Leadership

On the day of induction of newly promoted managers, the trainer asked, "Who is the finest leader you have seen in your life?" What leadership skilled you have learned from him?

All the participants raised their hands. Somebody was influences by his last supervisor, some by the learning and development person and many have shown the fascination and influence of the company's leadership. HR department was the role model of some in many. There were also the followers of public leaders, saints and some dare to share the name of some political leaders for influencing their life.

The reasons were vivid from the interview style, the reporting system, the way of sharing the knowledge and personal experience. Some had shown the fascination for the body language and dressing sense. Achieving targets was the reason of many role models. Many have shown their confidence in regular promotions of the leaders and some were followed for their connection in the management. The list was long including the number followers and large public voice with them.

Seen them raising their voice collectively, trainer was trying to find out the lost voice. The voice which he had seen very calm, a calm listener. The voice which was a silent spectator of all the happening since morning. His smile was saying something else. As it were a competition of hypocrisy and pseudo praising of somebody. Taking the attention of the class, he pointed him and asked, May I know your name please?

Given me a vision. She is a lady of respect, honour and pride. Eventually she haven't attended the high school in her life."

There was a big laugh all over. With surprise and a symbol of curiosity and trust, Saurabh asked, Is it so?

Yes, this is right. She always said that leadership is not in books, academics, positioning high, authority or knowing, it's in people and their deeds. Truly it can be understood by followers but not in counting but through their actions. She had two pet saying. "Between saying and doing many a shoes are worn out" is the first and second is "People may doubt what you say but they will believe what you do. "

She had never found any mistake or error in the acts of her people but in her actions and decisions. She had never monitored the activities of any other for the call of trust and confidence. She was a lady of conviction that where the monitoring is required the teaching is not complete. Take the people for their age and experience. The place from where you visualize the action of others is far above and ahead of their stage. Evaluate what you were doing when you were in their position or stage.

She is my mother.

She taught me that leadership is nothing but empathy, love, encouragement and trust. Leadership is building relations and realizing dreams.Leadership is winning, winning of people, winning over all the fears and doubts, winning without making anybody loose. This winning is winning together.

कई कोखों को शर्मसार किया 

रोटी, बोटी से महँगी बिकती 

रोटी ने मानुष पशु किया

उठ यौवन, उठ जतन करें कुछ

मन कर्म वचन से इंसां हो ले

उफान है समुद्र में 

हवाएं शोर कर रही

आकाश में आंतक हुआ

धरा साड़ी डोल रही

फिर मंथन, मंथन है मन का

मंथन की हवा कुछ बोल रही

उठ होने को भोर, निकलेगा सूरज

पंछियों की चह चह कुछ बोल रही

मन में एक आशा, आशा में बसंत 

कलियाँ आँखें खोल रही

मेघों से टपकी, टपकी हैं बूंदें 

मिटटी की खुशबू कुछ बोल रही

भावों की ज्योति डोल रही

विश्वास खुद का, विश्वास खुद में 

विश्वास की डोरी छोड़ रही

 

बड़े व्यापारी

आओ दुखों का व्यापार करें 

भूकंप बाढ़ आह्वान करें

सरकार हमारी सांझी होगी

जलजलों प्रकोपों का ध्यान करें 

पांचों अंगुली घी मै होगीं 

सिर कढाई में होगा

ठेके बटेंगें रस्ते बनेंगें 

हर खज़ाना फिर अपना होगा

रोटी बोटी छत्त चादर 

सभी बिकाऊ होंगें 

टकसाल लगेगी धन बरसेगा

एक नदिया की धरा है
बहना ही सहारा है

रस्ते है पर्वत के,
अमावस का अँधियारा है
"ह्रदय" पहचान मुसाफिर को
अंतर मै उजियारा है

धन किसकी खात्तिर चाहेगा

धन की यूँ चक्की चली
जीवन ही सारा पिस्ता रहा
अन्न की खात्तिर धन को लपका
अन्न ही जीवन को तरसता रहा

सारी खुशियाँ बीमारी हो गयी
गम तो अब छूता नहीं
पंचों ने यूँ दास बनाया
देव मानुष दीखता नहीं

अहम् खोया, अस्मत खोई
धनवान पैगम्बर हो गए
राष्ट्र धरा और जनहित
सब के व्यापारी हो गए

"ह्रदय" व्यापार अब यह धन का
किसको वास्तु बनाएगा
बेचीं धरा, माँ, बहिन - बेटी
धन किसकी खात्तिर चाहेगा

पंछी

गगन में फर फर करते पंछी
सन्देश नया कोई गा रहे हैं
बिना डगर मंजिल को निहारे
मदमस्त ये उड़ते जा रहे हैं

सूरज की गर्मी से ना डरते
बादल की गर्जन से ना टलते
पवन ये बाहें भर भर लेती
गीत मिलन के गा रहे हैं

सोच नहीं है कोई कल की
जीवन आज में बिता रहे हैं
दाना चुन कर दूर दूर से
घरों को वापिस जा रहे हैं

दिन भर दाना चुनते रहते
श्रम से "ह्रदय" कभी ना टलते
एक वृक्ष एक डाल पर रह कर
रहना मिल कर सिखा रहे हैं

दर्पण की क्या बात कहें
दर्पण को सच की बिमारी है
स्वस्थ रहने की खात्तिर मानव
कानों ढ़ेरी मारी है

पैदा हुआ यूँ रिश्वत दे कर
जब अस्पताल में लाइन लगी
दर्पण के एहसास से पहले
रिश्वत की ही साँस चली

स्कूल और कालेज में फिर
पढाई पैसे के तौल तुली
नौकरी और शादी की खात्तिर
नोटों की ऊँची बोली लगी

नया दौर है नए संकल्प हैं
नई परम्पराओं में हौड लगी
"ह्रदय" धन धन पैसा का युग
पग पग मानव की मण्डी लगी

पिपासा अन्तर की

तप रहा सूरज गगन में, धरती सारी जल रहीl

दूर तडफे मेघ दर्शक, निकट आ सकता नहीं ll

सूर्य जलता जल रहा,सागर से बूंदें आ रही l

जल रहे सारे यहाँ पर,क्यों जल रहे पता नहीं ll

सोच धरती जीव कर्मा, विचारों की हवा रही l

धरती जलती जीव जलता, हवा में शीतलता नहीं ll

सागर है मन, मेघ इंसान, दोनों की दूरी बढ़ रही l

बढ़ रहा अभिमान सूरज, प्रेम की बूंदें नहीं ll

सत्संग का वृक्ष ढूंढे "ह्रदय", पिपासा अन्तर की बढ़ रही l

ख़ुद को खो कर, ख़ुद को है पाना, बढ़ रहा अब तम नहीं ll

विश्वास

विश्वास तू आधार जीवन का, जीवन को तू कुछ मान ना मान
तुझसे ही रमता हर रिश्ता, सब रिश्तों का तू ही प्राण

तेरे बल मैं सपने बुनता , कल आयेगा करके ध्यान
तुझ बिन तमस और भय बढ़ता, हो जाता सब चिंतन निष्प्राण

विश्वास से ही माँ जीवन देती,देती हर तन को पहचान

कड़क रही थी बिजली यों, दीखाने को रास्ता ज्यों
हवा चली मदद को जों, खो गया मैं रास्ता त्यों

अंधेरों का मैंने साथ लिया, होंसलों को ना खोने दिया
नाव थी नाज़ुक बहुत, साथ उसने दिया बहुत 

उमीदों की नाव थी, कोशिशों के साथ थी
कर रहे थे अपने दुआ, अरमानों की वोह नाव थी

अब अगले सफर को तैयार हूँ, तुफानों में आवाज़ हूँ

नन्ही अंगुली थामे बचपन की
बड़े कदमों को जीवन में भरता हूँ l
नन्ही बूंदों में ज्ञान सागर सा

परिचय

कभी ज़िन्दगी, ज़िन्दगी से यूँ भी परिचय कराती है
हर गम हुई वास्तु, अपनी सी नज़र आती है

कभी शब्द कम पड़ जाते है बात अपनी कहने को

कभी चलते हुए कदमों से रास्ते खो जाते हैं

सोने की कोशिश करता नन्हा मन
सोना तो चाहे ही नहीं
प्यार करे उस ठाकुर से
उस ठाकुर को पाना चाहे ही नहीं

उनकी गलियों में रमता मन
ढूंढ़ रहा उन्हें गलियों में
हर चौबारे में ढूंढूं , काँकर से पूंछू
पूंछूं सारी धुलियन से



सारी रज माथे पर मलता
मलता अपने तन मन पे

प्रभु कृपा की हवा"ह्रदय" चलती चले

भाव हों कोमल, दिल हो नरम
क्षमा तो सबको करते चले
मिटटी का मानुष, मानुष में मालिक
"ह्रदय" तेरे कर्मों में भाव यह मिलता चले

मकसद - वों पाएं जिंदगानी

मेरे जीवन के मकसद, मेरे जीवन की राहें
मेरी जीवन की निशानी
वोह पाएं अपनी खुशियाँ, वोह पाएं अपने सपने
वोह पाएं जिंदगानी

मेरे विचारों की मंजिल, मेरी सोच की शक्ति
मेरे कुछ पाने की पहचानी
वोह पाएं जिंदगानी

मेरे चेहरे का खिलना, मेरे पैरों की थिरकन
मेरी आंखों की रवानी
वोह पाएं जिंदगानी

मेरे मन की भावुकता, मेरे सिमरन की ख्वाईश
मेरी पूजा की पहचानी
वोह पाएं जिंदगानी

"हरिसे" बहता हुआ दरिया, जीवन गहराता हुआ सागर
हर बूंद है पानी
वोह पाएं अपनी आशा, बुझायें अपनी पिपासा
वों पाएं जिंदगानी

मकसद

मन महके आज मेरा
आज वोह बात हो गयी
पथ बन पाऊं औरों का
शुरुआत हो गयी

हवा बहने को बह रही थी
खुशगवार न थी खुद को
देने को जीवन किसी को
किसी की सांस हो गयी

छोट्टा हुआ है पैसा
छोटी हर आस हो गयी
सागर तो था पहले भी
बूंदों की प्यास हो गयी

उपवन भी है वही
पतझड़ कहाँ गयी
खड़े ठूंठ के खिलने की
अब आस हो गयी

मन रोने को कह रहा
कहीं खोने को कर रहा
"ह्रदय" बहते हुए भावों की
अश्रु धार हो गयी

माँ

ममता भरे माँ के आँचल में
जीवन का आधार मिला
देकर पाती खुशियों को
एक अद्भुत सा संसार मिला


खुद के जीवन को दांव पर रख

एक नव जीवन को जन्म दिया
कुछ ज्ञान नहीं, अभिमान नहीं
फिर भी गुरु का है काम किया

खड़ा किया नन्हें कदमों को
चलने को बलवान किया
यूँ दीप जलाएं मन के, आंखों के
जीवन का हर ज्ञान दिया

वह रूठें न कभी हमसे प्रभु
तेरे चरणोँ मै यूँ प्रणाम किया
"ह्रदय" नयनों के जल से चरण पखारें
फिर जीवन में कोई काम किया

मानव ये सबसे करते प्यार

मैंने देखा राष्ट्र एक ऐसा
जैसा गगन, बिन आधार
कुछ हैं यह मानें, पर न जाने
बंधते मन से, मन से क्यों तार

जाति, मज़हब, मत गुरु अनेकों
हर पर मिलती लम्बी कतार
लहू बहाते अश्रु मिटाते
हर सुख-दुःख करते मिलकर पार

मिट जाते, बिक जाते पैसे हित
पैसा ही बहाते गंगा धार
सबको मानें सबसे बेहतर
जितना चाहते सब संसार

"ह्रदय" कहे कोई भारत इसको
कोई इंडिया कह कर करे प्रचार
एक वाणी, एक शक्ति - कमजोरी
मानव ये सबसे करते प्यार

इक संयम का दिया जलेगा, इक सहस काम करेगा

जब शाम घनी हो, अंधेरों में होड़ लगी हो
इक संयम का दिया जलेगा, इक सहस काम करेगा
अंधियारों में थम ना जाना, कदमों को मार्ग मिलेगा
इक संयम का दिया जलेगा, इक सहस काम करेगा

सुर्य भी जाने राह दिखाना, रह दिया भी रोशन करेगा
आसमान का आभास करके, कंकर महल बनेगा
जब बुझ जाये लौ आशा की, महल भी कंकर बनेगा
इक संयम का दिया जलेगा, इक सहस काम करेगा

उठ जाना जुट जाना, केवल कर्मों से मार्ग मिलेगा
ना अपेक्षा, ना उपेक्षा, चिंतन से कर्म मिलेगा
"ह्रदय" सांसों का तार ये तेरा, तब ही साथ चलेगा
इक संयम का दिया जलेगा, इक सहस काम करेगा

विचार

समाज नग्न हो रहा है
खो रहे है विचार
विचार वस्त्र समाज के
विचार आधार समाज के

विचार है जो जल के
जग को शीतल करने के
खोकर खुद की हस्ती
औरों को जीवन देने के

विचार है जो पवन के
निर्विघ्न चलने के
निराकार हो कर के,
जीवन साकार करने के

विचार है जो धरा के
जननी बनके पोषण के
खोलकर भंडार अन्न - धनं
जीवन को खुशहाल करने के

विचार है जो मानव जीवन के
प्रेम, क्षमा और त्याग के
भरत सा जीवन जी कर
"ह्रदय" आधार राम राज के

शक्ति पूजन चाहूँ हूँ

सरस्वती, लक्ष्मी की पूजा
संग संग करना चाहूँ हूँ
सुना तपस्या बहुत विरल है
फिर भी करना चाहू हूँ
दोनों शक्ति रूप हैं तेरे
शक्ति पूजन चाहूँ हूँ

सरस्वती माँ ज्ञान मुझे दो
बिन ज्ञान जगत यह अधुरा है
लक्ष्मी माँ भंडारे भर दो
बिन स्रोत न जग यह पूरा है
पात्र बना दो "ह्रदय" को मैया
यह भिक्षा झोली मै चाहूँ हूँ

दोनों शक्ति रूप हैं तेरे
शक्ति पूजन चाहूँ हूँ

दर्पण पर निगाह तो थमने दो

बदला है चमन, बदली है फिज़ा
इक करवट जीवन को लेने दो
नहीं लाली संध्या की यह, है किरण यह प्रभा की
सूरज को उदय तो होने दो

मन मै उमंग, सांसों में तरंग
कदमों में उफान तो भरने दो
रुख मोड़ हवा के, झरनों को डोर कर
भावों में उड़ान को भरने दो

इक बार ही चलना है, न रस्ते में थमना है
मंजिल निगाह में भरने दो
"ह्रदय" थमना है खुद को, बढना है खुद से आगे
दर्पण पर निगाह तो थमने दो

वोह बचपन के लहराते पल

जीवन तृप्त कर जाते हैं
याद आते जब बीते पल
प्राणोँ को प्राणोँ मै भरते
प्राणोँ के एहसास के पल

वोह बचपन के लहराते पल
निर्मल निश्छल महकाते पल
पल जिनकी परिभाषा न थी
जीवन की परिभाषा के पल

खामोश भी थे, चंचल भी थे
हर आशा की पहचान थे वह पल
वो पल जिनमें सब सच्चा था
इस जीवन के सच्चे वो पल

सब अपने थे, आंखों में सपने थे
आंखों के सपने थे वो पल
वो जिनमें यह जग पूरा था
"ह्रदय" जग को पूरा करते वो पल

पथ पर खुद चलना होगा

हर दिया पथ रोशन करता,
जीवन को ज्योति करना होगा
हर पथ प्रभु तक पहुंचाता
पथ पर खुद चलना होगा

पथ की खोज मै पथिक भटकता
पथ जो मन के अन्दर है
मन झांके मन के भीतर
इक मंदिर मन के अन्दर है
उस मंदिर मै लौ को जलने
खुद का मंथन करना होगा
हर पथ प्रभु तक पहुंचाता....


पथ में भटक गए जो फिर
"ह्रदय"पथ लक्ष्य से बड़ा हुआ
मानव से धरम, धरम से पंथ
अहम् पंथ से बड़ा हुआ
बड़ा हुआ ये ठूंठ मूल से
संचारित मूल से करना होगा
हर पथ प्रभु तक पहुंचाता....

अन्न

मिट्टी से उपजा ये अन्न
मिट्टी की खात्तिर ये अन्न
मिट्टी ही अन्न का निरादर करती
मिट्टी मिट्टी मै मिलाती है अन्न

प्राण संचार करता है अन्न
प्राण बन मिट्टी में रहता है अन्न
प्राण मिट्टी में जब तक रहते
प्राणोँ को भटकता अन्न

प्रकृति का उपहार है अन्न
प्रकृति का उपकार है अन्न
प्रकृति का जो मान न रखते
प्रकति ही सुखाती है फिर यह अन्न

"ह्रदय" जो वोह जाने है अन्न
मनुख जो है वोह माने है अन्न
मनुख बढाई मानवता की अन्न
मनुख कमी कर्मों की है अन्न

सागर के तट बैठा लकीरें लगा रहा हूँ

मेहमान जिंदगी के अरमान सजा रहा हूँ
सागर के तट बैठा लकीरें लगा रहा हूँ

इक पल का राजा हूँ, भिखारी मै सांसों का
इक पल मै भिक्षु हूँ, धनवान ज़िन्दगी का
इस अनमोल जिंदगी की कीमत लगा रहा हूँ
सागर के तट बैठा लकीरें लगा रहा हूँ

ले रहा हूँ सांसें अहंकार को संजोए
खो रहा हूँ पल, आस बरसों की संजोए
इक मृग-तृष्णा की खातिर, दांव जीवन लगा रहा हूँ
सागर के तट बैठा लकीरें लगा रहा हूँ

देखता हूँ जब जमीं, है सच जो आसमान का
है वृक्ष गगन-चुम्भी भी, पौधा इसी जमीं का
फिर भी आसमान पर, महल बना रहा हूँ
सागर के तट बैठा लकीरें लगा रहा हूँ

गम है इसी जीवन का, ख़ुशी ना साथ जाएगी
इक कला है मिट्टी की, मिट्टी में ही मिल जाएगी
"ह्रदय" मिट्टी में रंग भरने की कोशिश कर रहा हूँ
सागर के तट बैठा लकीरें लगा रहा हूँ
